The purpose of the event
Organized for the first time in Romania by POLITEHNICA Bucharest, in partnership with CITI Cluster, Smart City Highlights is the country’s largest national event dedicated to academic urban innovation.
The event serves as a neutral and strategic platform for connection between key players from public administration, the private sector, academia, and research, all working toward the common goal of transforming Romanian cities into sustainable, efficient, and people-centered urban environments.
With a dynamic agenda that includes technology exhibitions, live demonstrations, hands on workshops and interactive networking sessions, Smart City Highlights offers participants the chance to engage with real-world solutions and spark concrete partnerships.
Our mission is to inspire, connect communities, and generate actionable solutions to today’s urban challenges, thus contributing to shaping the smart cities of tomorrow.
