The Circular City Centre (C3) is a competence and resource hub coordinated by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and co-financed by the European Commission through the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI). It provides free strategic and technical support for European cities in the process of transitioning to a circular economy.
Through two distinct programs, cities can receive tailored assistance to develop circular projects and secure funding for their implementation.
What Type of Support is Available?
Circular City Centre offers two advisory programs to help cities develop and implement their circular economy strategies:
1. Circular City Advisory Programme
- A structured advisory program delivered through workshops over 4-6 months
- Provides personalized support based on the city’s transition level
- Helps identify, prepare, and secure funding for circular projects
2. Circular Project Advisory Programme
- Offers advanced technical assistance for circular economy projects in later stages
- Supports cities in moving from concept to investment and implementation
- Designed for large-scale urban projects with a significant impact on the circular economy
