Veolia Romania Integrated Solutions (VRSI) is a member company of the Veolia Group and provides operation, maintenance, and management services for water and wastewater systems, equipment, and installations for commercial and industrial clients. VRSI is also the operator of the public water supply service in the city of Otopeni, since2007, for a period of 25 years, for the city of Chitila, since 2016, for a contractual period of 10 years, and for the city of Popești-Leordeni since 2019, for a period of 29 years.

Founded in 1999, VRSI specializes in optimally managing natural resources and provides gamechanging solutions that are useful and practical for water, waste/ wastewater, and energy
management. Through its three complementary business activities, VRSI supports access to resources, preserves available resources, and replenishes them. These solutions actively contribute to the sustainable development of several cities and extended industries, improving the communities’ living standards.

In terms of water management, the company responds to the many challenges of local authorities and industrial customers: production and distribution of drinking and industrial water, collection, treatment, and recycling of wastewater.

As a partner of cities and industry, Veolia Romania Soluții Integrate has solid expertise in energy efficiency, heating and cooling network management, and renewable energy production.

In 2022, VRSI registered a turnover of about 11 mil. €, and it today has 240 employees, out of which 39 are women.
