Veolia Romania’s first corporate image campaign – “Water and Energy Powering the City” marks 25 years of local presence and strengthens the company’s position as an integrated provider of water and energy solutions for municipalities and industries.
The campaign highlights the role of “invisible infrastructure”, which supports urban development through integrated water management and comprehensive renewable energy solutions.
“Water and Energy Powering the City” brings into focus the invisible infrastructure that supports communities every day – a vital technical ecosystem for city operations that often goes unnoticed. The company’s first corporate image campaign reveals how water and energy supply drive daily urban life, while also marking 25 years of Veolia’s presence in Romania.
Water and energy – Veolia’s core areas of expertise – become the central pillars of a visual narrative showing how resources are transformed, through world-class expertise and state-of-the-art technologies, into increased comfort, lower bills, and enhanced safety for people. The campaign includes a brand spot and a product spot, dedicated to the innovative GeoExchange solution.
“Through this campaign, we are not only marking an anniversary, but also reaffirming the tangible role Veolia plays in managing essential urban infrastructure. Water and energy are at the core of our activity, and our integrated expertise allows us to deliver complex, turnkey projects for both the public and private sectors.
The campaign reflects our commitment to actively contributing to the modernization and efficiency of cities, with a direct impact on people’s quality of life. At the same time, Veolia’s total contribution to the Romanian economy amounts to €2.31 billion — clear evidence of our long-term commitment to the sustainable development of the communities in which we operate.”
— Mădălin Mihailovici, CEO of Veolia Romania
The campaign aligns with Veolia Group’s global vision of transforming essential infrastructure into a driver of sustainable development. This vision is reflected in GreenUp, the strategic direction through which the Group accelerates the deployment of decarbonization, depollution, and resource regeneration solutions. In Romania, the technology that best illustrates this approach is GeoExchange – one of the most advanced renewable energy solutions for urban development, using geothermal resources to provide heating, cooling, and hot water for all types of buildings.
The “Water and Energy Powering the City” campaign can be followed across major media channels in Romania: on leading TV and radio stations, across 30 digital platforms, and through outdoor advertising in major cities such as Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Iași, and Sibiu.
