CITI Cluster members preparing proposals for the 2027 Horizon Europe calls can find international partners at the Green and Inclusive Future International Brokerage Event, taking place in Istanbul on 21 January 2027. One of its four thematic areas is the EU Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, directly linked to the cluster’s work.
The event is organised by TÜBİTAK within the Technical Assistance for Türkiye in Horizon Europe Project, in conjunction with the Enterprise Europe Network. It will be held at Point Hotel Barbaros (Şişli, Istanbul). For more than two decades, TÜBİTAK has connected Türkiye’s research and innovation community with European consortia.
Thematic areas
- EU Missions, Climate-Neutral & Smart Cities + Cancer: climate-neutral cities, plus research and innovation for people affected by cancer.
- Digital Calls, Chips JU & Smart Networks and Services JU (Cluster 4): semiconductors, strategic digital technologies, future connectivity and 6G.
- New European Bauhaus (NEB): sustainability, inclusion and quality in transforming buildings, neighbourhoods and public spaces.
- Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society (Cluster 2): democracy, cultural heritage, creative industries and social transformation.
Programme
- Morning: plenary session, followed by four parallel sessions, one per thematic area. Each session presents the 2027 calls, then moves to project pitching, where participants say which partners they are looking for.
- 14:00–17:00: face-to-face B2B meetings, arranged in advance through B2Match.
- After the event: the platform stays open for online meetings until the end of 2027.
Who should join?
Universities and research organisations, SMEs and large companies, start-ups, public institutions, sectoral associations and clusters can take part. Organisations from Türkiye and from all countries eligible for Horizon Europe are welcome.
